Summer Trips

Here are two random pictures of Brian and I from our trip last year and this year. Last year we traveled to Niagara Falls (Canada) and through the Adirondacks in upstate New York. What an absolutely beautiful trip! This year we traveled south to visit some friends in Kentucky, visit some friends in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN where we saw an IRL car race thanks to my darling "sis" Nicole, through the Smoky Mountains (see picture) and back up towards PA. We rode a little over 3000 miles in two weeks :)

It is SO difficult to take pictures of a bathroom! Obviously, we have a rather small bathroom (yet another work in progress). I didn't try to take any pictures of our kitchen, partially finished basement or bedrooms because they are rather messy, but stay tuned!

This is the biggest room in our house. It contains the front office and our dining room. We took a chance and painted the walls red, which we ended up loving! All the furniture in these rooms is old, but in the near future we are going to buy this beautiful "L-shaped" desk from the pottery barn that will fill up the front office and provide much needed filing cabinets! Can you find Kyann in one of the pictures? :)

This is our living room, which contains new furniture (the couch is my favorite...the chairs on the end recline...zzzzzzz)! The door on the right is the front door of our house the stairs lead up to the second floor containing two bedrooms and the room in the background is our office.

Our small brick home with one car garage including a loft above for storage and finally the fenced in back yard for our doggies, which we are currently growing grass in. Future plans are to replace the metal fence with white aluminum and adding a deck!

House Pictures

Brian and I moved into our first home on October 22, 2005. Since then we have painted, bought some new furniture for the living room, a new garage door , and changed a variety of odds and ends. We have a lot planned for the house in the future, but since it's summer, we are too busy with vacations and weekend trips to really get into anything big. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Well here is the first picture I was able to upload! These are my "children". The chocolate lab is Kyann and the shepard/beagle is Rusty. I love my dogs.
